"The hotel is well maintained and pretty new, 5-min walking from the trian station. The room is very clean but a little small. The hotel offers free ice cream or ramen every night. It is in the area with lot of restaurants and the famous castle is about 20 mins by walking. "

"The hotel was pretty good, but not the best I've stayed at in Japan. The breakfast was pretty good, but not as amazing as everyone made it sound in the reviews. There was free sake tasting everyday at 5pm. It was 10 minute walk from the train station (not as close as Expedia made it sound, but not a bad walk either). I would stay here again, but just will go in with different expectations than what I had based on the reviews. Overall the staff was very nice and accommodating."
