"We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. "Astir was literally across the street from the ocean. I did not have a full ocean view from my room, but I could see it from my balcony on the side of the building. It was a single room, so the bathroom was small, but the bed was comfortable. It was a lovely room for the price. The staff were very nice and friendly. There was a bar open in the afternoon/evening with a wonderful view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again. "

"We had ten nights at the hotel and I can honestly say it was faultless. The staff are wonderful, the bedrooms comfortable and so roomy and the whole hotel is exceptionally clean. There is a palpable sense of pride in the hotel which is reflected in how well it is run and maintained. We shall definitely return."

"Great property and location.Our room was on the second floor offering great ocean views. 10 min walk to the Main Street with shops and restos. 15-20 min walk to Makri Gialo beach with crystal blue turquoise water and sandy beach. Fabulous pool with sunbeds and full bar for drinks and snacks. 10 min drive to the main city of Argostoli with greater choices. In all a wonderful stay in Kefalonia."

"The pool area was beautifully landscaped with olive trees, gorgeous flowers, plants and an abundance of rosemary. We did feel a little disappointed the pool was within the hotel rather than facing out to sea. It gave the impression the hotel could be anywhere. Visitors need to be aware of the construction work below of a new, very large hotel. Only the roofs are visible fortunately, but there is some noise if you go to the nearest small beach. The restaurant was excellent on the few times we went."
