"Loved this location and the feel of this small little hotel. There is a rustic charm and feel to it and we loved being 30 minutes to Salzburg by train. The little town of Golling is quite charming and we wish we had more time to explore during our stay. The suite room we had was spacious enough with a beatutiful wooden balcony and view of the mountain. The morning breakfast and warm home made bread was the highlight for us, so very good! Perfect location for 2 night stop during our alpine drive. Do not miss the castle down the road - we felt that was cooler than Salzburg it's self! Did not get a chance to use the SPA. Maybe next time. Thank you for the hospitality!"

"Nice location to town and close to train to Zugspitze. Great breakfast. Fun bar at night with a couple young German musicians. All staff helpful. Did not know that the hotel had no AC. With door to patio open at night was tolerable but can’t imagine hot days staying there. Garage was convenient but VERY tight. Small car or you will struggle. Overall very nice place."

"The hotel was a little dated, but everything was great. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had. The spa area had everything you needed. The location was right near the town and right on a steam. Be careful about the parking garage. I got a big scratch on my car because there’s a handrail that’s in a bad position."

"Wow!!! A hotel beyond reproach... the ultimate in location and relaxation. Beautiful mountain setting with breathtaking views, impeccable design and built, first-rate service where everyone knows the guest's name. Private gondola taking you to the retreat gives Bond vibes ;) Amazing place!!!"

"I booked the room for the view of the Alps, and I wasn't disappointed. It's simply breathtaking! However, there was no service at the front desk, and the balcony and its furnishings are completely outdated. We stayed for 5 nights, and I was given only 2 small packets of instant coffee for the entire stay. The breakfast, however, is excellent."
