Host Paolo was most warm person and helped with our special requests without hesitation. Dinner in the restaurant was nice. Great views from the terrace 👌 We really enjoyed our stay.
Our overall stay in this hotel was good. Staff are friendly and the views from the terrace are spectacular.
However we booked a Mountain View room and the room we were given was not what we expected. Our room looked on to the cliff side and not the stunning views which we expected.
Fantastic little hotel on top of a mountain. The drive up there is an experience, especially because our gps took us through the small village at he foot of the mountain with very narrow streets...But it is definitely worth the drive. Amazing view from the hotel and the food is excellent! Highly recommendable.

Beautiful views, basic rooms, grumpy service
Great location with very average rooms and grumpy service. Location is absolutely fantastic, beautiful views, and cosy corners. Rooms are very basic with a shower for midgets. Personel is friendly to Italians and not so friendly to tourists. So Italians get cappuccino and tourists filter coffee. If you insist you also get cappuccino, but not with a smile....
To reach the hotel was crazy because the first time the navi send us to a road with slope that made scary. Later we found another, that was good.
The room was very dark and little musty and uncomfortable, because we had to sleep with two persons under one sheet and they wrote on the third bed, yes there was one, that they will charge extra if we use the cover or something.
The best was the pizza at the evening and surroundig, with he the view when you go up by car. But pay attention to the streets. If the navi write SP "Strada provinciale" it might be an adventure to use it. We didn't use an off-road car so we go with our rental car through big holes and bumps. But this was not the mistake of the hotel. The location and the garden was good.
This is an authentic and early model of eco tourism. The mountains are at your door. Locally run and inspired — everything you need and nothing else. Loved my stay. Perfectly comfortable, great art and the best terrace you could want with a deadly view of the valley in front and the awesome Mount Oliena looming over you. One thing would have made it perfect. Access to coffee before 7:45 am. How about a kettle or a machine in the hall?
A wonderful stay in a beautiful natural setting! The restaurant served a delicious breakfastwith fresh local products – an absolute treat. The sunset from the hotel was simply stunning, a magical moment every evening. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax. Highly recommended!
The location is the only thing positive about the hotel. Nothing else was positive, the room was strange. Also I booked a room not a bed, I do not need a passive aggressive reminder in my room to only use one bed. Also the reception is strange, I don't care about overly polite charades but on the other hand if the guest stands there on the desk you can stop your private conversation for a moment and serve the guest.
We thoroughly enjoyed this place!! We got upgraded to a larger room because it was low season and it did not disappoint! The views of the mountain range were epic, the wine was affordable and the meals were all local produce with quality service. The hiking in the area is absolutely epic, just make sure you have a vehicle that can do some inclines and winding roads safely and you can take advantage of the whole scene. We would definitely stay again! :)
