"I needed a room for one person while visiting Orange County for a basketball tournament and I really wanted to be within walking distance of the beach but was on a tight budget and I was delighted to discover the Boat Room at Nomads. The price was unbeatable for a May weekend and I loved my tiny little room. It had absolutely everything I needed and the ownership was so helpful via text with getting checked in and then adding the information about my rental car right before we got to the hotel. I was able to snag the overnight parking in front of the Cantina both nights without much issue and both the lunch and dinner I had there were delicious. The hotel is within walking distance of absolutely everything you could possibly want and the digital check-in was super smooth. As per other reviews, the Cantina is hopping from open to close and they do start prepping in the morning but even though my room was literally under the stairs up to the Cantina I got plenty of sleep using the sound machine that was in the room and earplugs (with which I usually sleep anyway). The Apple TV was great; I was able to access multiple different streaming apps easily. I am absolutely planning on staying here again the next time we are in the OC and I really appreciate the variety of rooms to accommodate any size party."

"Very clean, comfortable room, nice breakfast. Very conveniently located near town and right off highway. Laundry area was sufficient but only 2 washers/dryers in place. Parking was convenient however spaces were extremely narrow/tight. I'd definitely recommend this hotel."

"We recently stayed at Sea Horse Resort and overall had a very pleasant experience. Before our trip, I contacted the hotel to ask about the possibility of an early check-in. To my surprise, they had a room ready when we arrived around 12:30 PM, which was greatly appreciated after our drive. Unfortunately, the room we were initially given had not been cleaned due to a hotel mistake. We were able to leave our luggage and spend some time outside while they took care of it. However, the staff sincerely apologized, and their genuine concern made the situation much easier to accept. It did not negatively affect our overall experience. Although the ocean view was partially blocked by trees, the balcony was spacious, and the room itself was large and comfortable. After housekeeping finished, the room was spotless and felt almost brand new. What stood out the most was the friendliness of the staff. Every request we made was handled quickly and professionally, which made our stay very convenient and enjoyable. Most importantly, thank you for helping create such a positive experience and wonderful memories for our family. Small moments of kindness and great service can make a trip truly special, and your team did exactly that. While the check-in issue was a minor inconvenience, the excellent customer service, cleanliness, and comfortable accommodations more than made up for it. We would happily stay here again and would gladly recommend Sea Horse Resort to others."

"First of all I got ahold of hotels.com to see if I could het a refund the next thing I know my reservation was canceled so then I had to spend over $700 on hotel rooms for a holiday weekend while being the middle man with hotels.com to.get my refund only to be the middle man talking back and forth for over a week to get my refund for hotels.com to offer me $60 when I declined the offer they told me there was nothing they could do amd sorry for my loss. This is totally unacceptable and a slap in the face so after them telling me multiple times they couldn't get ahold of the property I call the number the property manager Shelly gave me she answered the first time I called and was very nice and helpful she ended up calling hotels.com and gave me my refund that day after over a week with struggling with hotels.com she was nice and understanding and got my money back. Now I'm trying to get the rest of my refund from hotels.com for the service fee they charge wich they're ignoring me about as usual. So I'd suggest to book directly through the hotel and never use hotels.com as they will try and rip you off and give you the run around. I'll never book through hotels.com again after this awful experience. Horrible customer service from hotels.com it took me calling the place to get my refund wich their manager Shelly was amazing and Im so greatful for her. So book direct dont go through what I did it was a nightmare."

"Things we liked 1. Close proximity to Pier & beach area 2. Common area balcony, tables & chairs OK, sofa was worn out Things we didn't like 1. There's 1 window in entire unit and it would not open 2. No WIFI - listed as "Internet" in Expedia profile, each day we were promised it would be fixed. Each day we were disappointed. It was never fixed. 3. No TV ("40-inch TVs with cable channels") - likely tied to internet outage. 4. Sofa was incredibly worn-out and uncomfortable 5. Room in general was worn-out/beat-up"
