"The building and room were excellent. I parked off street and was steps from my room. I ordered a pizza and the delivery was smooth! The bed was amazing and I loved the sheets! The bathroom is upgraded and nicely done. I had an appointment early and the Villa is centrally located in San Clemente and the traffic was good too! I enjoyed my stay and will return! Christy B"

"We were so pleasantly surprised about everything, especially the proprietors Dave and Joyce. This property is a typical, old 1950s Motor Inn on the old Camino Real. Make no mistake, it is not near the beach, but it has an intended “surfers vibe” and sits right on the Green line of the free San Clemente trolley line that runs every 15 minutes to the Califino Beach or the San Clemente pier and all points in between. "Very convenient location in San Clemente. Room and bed were comfortable and the hotel was quiet each morning. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool/hot tub area was a bit tired and sun worn. Everything worked and was useful at the pool but it did not fit with the rest of the property. Will definitely return when in SC."

There's 1 window in entire unit and it would not open 2. No WIFI - listed as "Internet" in Expedia profile, each day we were promised it would be fixed. Each day we were disappointed. "This hotel charges $15 a night to park for some odd reason and I wasn’t told this by check in associate . Apparently it is shown in the fine print on Expedia if opening up more details page . Don’t get satisfied the price is ok before considering the added $15 to park which they actually charged $16.50 a night for anyway ."

"If could give this hotel 1,000 stars, I would! The decor was absolutely stunning and reminded us of our favorite places in Puerto Vallarta. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the two fireplaces made for the perfect nightcap and a truly relaxing evening. The staff at the front desk were amazing—friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
