"The staff was amazing from start to finish. The two people at the front desk were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the breakfast attendant was just as wonderful and attentive. I also received a complimentary room upgrade, which was beautiful and made my birthday trip feel even more special. Everyone I interacted with made me feel genuinely welcomed. Great service, hospitality, and an overall wonderful stay!"

"The Hotel Alexander is a super convenient location, very central to the train station, close to all the important sights and located on the walking street in old Town. There was an interesting night life with the cafes and restaurants close by. The rooms are modernized and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good and the front desk staff very helpful with all kinds of information. We would repeat staying here in the future!"

"I stayed at Hotel Franziskaner in Zurich on a business trip, sharing a room with a colleague. Overall, the hotel was well located and convenient for getting around the city. The room was comfortable and perfectly adequate for single occupancy, but in hindsight it was quite small for two people sharing. The bathroom facilities were good, although the space was very compact. It was an interesting and clever use of the limited space, but it did feel rather confined. The location was a definite positive. It is very central, with good access to public transport and plenty of restaurants and dining options within easy walking distance. There are also several bars very close by, some of which stay open late, so the area has a lively atmosphere in the evenings. Another useful feature for a business stay was the 24-hour access to the building, which made coming and going at different times very convenient. Overall, Hotel Franziskaner is a well-located and practical option for a short business stay, particularly if travelling alone. For two colleagues sharing a room, however, I would recommend considering the room size carefully."

Altstadt Hotel

"The location of the Altstadt Hotel in Old Town Zürich was definitely the highlight of the property. For the price, the room was tiny and the cleaning staff did not thoroughly clean our room but rather tidied up. We used glasses and mugs for coffee, and they left the dirty dishes in the room which we thought was odd. Other than that, we thought the stay was simply fine vs excellent. It did the job but certainly left some things to be desired."
