"We had had an ADA accessible room, and the ramp to the bathroom was a bit janky. The bathroom had neither a fan nor a window in it so it was chronically smelly and stuffy. The bed was firm and comfortable and the manager in the morning was very friendly and lively! He showed us his patriotism- Red White and Blue painted toes for the 4th which was fun. The breakfast was okay, but he was quick to provide us anything we needed. He was the best part of the stay to be honest. His staff could do well...

"Very basic and comfortable place to rest. This motel is on a very busy and loud(SUVs and motorcycles) corner at the gateway to the American River Rec. area. It is a very short stroll to Auburn historic downtown with pubs and excellent restaurants. It was Uber clean with a great shower. Somewhat worn but, again, location was excellent and wonderful helpful staff. Would definitely stay again."

"We stayed during Western States weekend, and we chose this hotel for the lower price compared to what was available in town and we knew what we were getting, having been here before. With all that said: our non-smoking room smelled of smoke+ other accumulated smells, retained by the old carpet and the old window drapes. The room was spacious (king bed), the fridge and microwave were working. It would be nice to see some more care placed into these rooms."

"Wow! What a great place to stay. An incredible lobby, the room was faultless and the bathroom was amazing. The staff was so helpful.
