"Claverton staff, food, room and gardens all excellent. The functions on 2 nights in function room and beer garden below our room was noisy and therefore took edge off stay hence the 4 stars and would not return in the future."

"What a beautiful location! Lovely hotel in a perfect spot. The staff were all so freindly and helpful, especially the extremely polite dark haired gentleman at the bar when we arrived. He took the trouble to show me to the room and explained everything. The breakfast was also very good, great choice and lovely to sit with a view of the Abbey. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend."

Had a small issue so we called Jonny who answered on the 2nd ring, talked us through the solution, and then gave us some tips on things to do. Great service. "What a wonderful hotel,lovely setting,all of the staff were excellent ,professional,friendly and the hotel had a lovely homely feel,would recommend to anyone . The only thing l can say being slightly negative is that the spa in the pool area felt very dated ,and the decor in places throughout the hotel could do with revamping!! Wonderful stay 😊"

"Having arrived into our room we were greate by a dirty chewed of finger bnail sitting on the side of the bed cabinet, bright orange stain on a pillow case and very obviously being a top floor room it has not been hoovered in a while. I made the check staff aware, informed we would be roaming out and about for a nhoutr or so but would appreciate the room being cleaned and spotless on muy retunr, photographic evidence was shared - having returned to my room the only update was a clean pillow...
