Love the closeness to the beach, affordable stay. Clean, but there was mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. A place to hang clothes would have been nice. The owner is in contact through texting, and is very receptive.

Overall good. Was told we could not stand in the Parking lot, and checkout instructions were vague. But a fabulous location- everything in walking distance! And very clean!

Nicole deserves a raise! She was helpful and informative with any of our inquiries. The unit could use a few more pans etc. for reheating the delicious Maine fried seafood! Bathroom could use a new shower curtain and grout! Would definitely stay here again!!

Across from the beach, close to a lot of activities, the space is up to date and very comfortable , decorated nicely. Outdoor porch area was a nice addition to having extra space. The train does go by very early in the am but that’s not just for this space on the avenue but is something to consider if that bothers you. Communication with Nichole was very easy and she was great to deal with! We loved to space and will definitely stay here again!

Good location for the most part. Easy beach access. Good parking. Clean but not sparkling or “hotel clean.” Close to Portland but out of the city a bit. Nice neighborhood for the most part though close to an amusement park. You should be warned that the Downeaster Amtrak trains come through frequently blaring a horn even in the night. It is loud enough to awaken you. In addition, the upstair apartment is a rental. The first day we were there they were moving out or cleaning. Lots of foot traffic overhead. Noisy. Then the dog moved in 2 days later. When the owners were gone the dog barked nonstop for hours. Check out was vague. I had asked for a later checkout and was told to call towards the end of our stay, but no one ever answered the phone or the messages. Checked out on time but no one was there. Had to put the keys in the mail slot. Probably if we had checked out later no one would be the wiser…then why insist on a call? In unit 1 specifically, the oven knob was broken and would not turn the oven off. You have to take the knob off to turn the metal itself to turn it off. The shower switch was also broken and allowed water to keep coming through the faucet; hence affecting the shower flow. Overall, our stay was pleasant and for the price it was good.
