"I was traveling solo and chose a shared bathroom for the cheaper price. The room was the perfect size for me and no issues with the shared bathroom as there was still an option to use a hallway bathroom if the shared bathroom was in use. I have started to travel with my own tea amenities so I enjoyed having a bar fridge for my milk and leftovers :)"

"This is a beautiful location and new hotel. As this had been only open for 2 months I feel they have a few kinks to work out. I was staying in the beautiful front garden suite. Unfortunately the sound proofing to the main lobby it’s not sufficient also the gaps under the doors have such a massive sound transfer you can hear everything and all conversations going on in the lobby. I know it’s an old building but I would have thought this would have been considered in the renovation. I would love to stay again but because it feels like you loose a feeling of privacy being exposed the the rest of the patrons I will most likely not be planning a return stay unless they take this into consideration. It’s unfortunate because the room had a great atmosphere and beautiful touch’s with fresh flower and very clean space. I really wish they would have been more detailed in the Reno to provide sufficient sound proofing because I would stay here all the time. Also the staff were amazing. And location is perfect"

"Very well maintained rooms! Hotel is at great location. Train station and bus stops are at walking distance. Saves you money on uber and also let you experience beauty of the area. Only thing I was missing in my room I felt was microwave but that was just a call away! Front desk sent housekeeping right away to set up microwave in my room."

"Location is excellent for walking to the beach and Stanley Park, it’s even a fairly easy walk to the IMAX theatre. Parking is tricky as entrance to parking is at the back of the building not on street front and spots are narrow. We used the restaurant for a dinner, food and service were great but it is a sports bar and it was extremely noisy (we were 2 adults but certainly too loud to have children or older adults as you couldn’t carry on a conversation). Room was clean and had a fridge and microwave which was nice to have when staying a few nights. Though space in room was tight. Our room opened to the busy Davie street and had a balcony so fun to watch the passing traffic but noisy and it also got direct sunlight in the daytime and thus the room heated up like an oven. Air conditioning worked but blows right onto a bed. Over all we enjoyed the location and would rate the facility as “average”."
