"We decided to treat ourselves for 1 night and it was just what we were looking for. Great experience sleeping right in front of Fuji, in a super well equipped and maintained ā€œtentā€. Dinner was a wonderful experience as well, prepared by the staff and cooked to finish by us right next to the tent. My only comment is to note that the private bath is only for 1h, but the shared bath was very close to the tent and very clean and convenient."

"This place was so neat! It had a very unique cottage vibe with a wonderful breakfast option. Make sure you order it before your reservation day. Warnings: This place is out in the woods with limited bus routes available. Like only 5-6 routes all day. So plan accordingly. Also, each room has its own toilet but you shares the shower/onsen room. Only one family/person uses it at a time. "

"Here's the rundown of this hotel: 1. Free shuttle to/from Mt. Fuji Station & Kawaguchiko Station via hotel shuttle. Just call the hotel upon arrival at the station. 2. Strict check-in time. 3. Tea/snack and breakfast coupons will be given to you upon check-in. You can use the tea coupon in a building in their garden. 4. The wine lounge is a must-try if you get access to it. 5. Dinner food is delicious. It was the highlight of our stay, since we only stayed for one night to recover halfway through our Japan trip. 6. There is an outdoor swimming pool next to the garden and a foot bath area in the garden. 7. Request a bus shuttle to Mishima Station if you are heading to Kyoto or Osaka after your stay. It's an hour-long trip that leaves at 10:15 after you check out. The cost is 4,000 yen per person."
