Ogunquit - The Milestone

Ogunquit - The Milestone

8/10 Good
"Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Our room was very clean, beds comfortable, AC worked well, mini fridge and microwave useful. Parking was easy, staff was nice, the complimentary continental breakfast was a nice plus. The pool was a good size, heated, and very warm. There was no jacuzzi. It was closed and the staff said it's been closed for years (they said they've asked Expedia to remove the jacuzzi from their site). We were bummed, as having access to a jacuzzi was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. There's a gym, but it's a bit outdated, but still did the trick for getting a quick workout in. The hotel is walkable to Footbridge Beach and to some of the local resturants. Overall, we recommend this hotel and would stay there again."

"The staff was very friendly and no issues came up that required us to be in contact with them much during our stay. 2 room suite was perfect for our family with teenagers. Huge pool! Location was fantastic, we walked to the beach via the tidal river at low tides and it was easy 10 minute walk to Footbridge Beach and downtown Ogunquit. Felt great to park the car and not need it for a few days."

"We were a couple and we stayed 2 nights in mid-August. You can't beat the location: right in the heart of Oqunquit and an easy walk to the beach. Some rooms have a beautiful view (ours didn't). Parking! (A rare commodity in Ogunquit. It's good to have a continental breakfast available (coffee, fruit, bagels, cereals and fruity yogurt. BUT a continental breakfast that doesn't have any protein isn't as helpful as it might be. Our room was adequate even though somewhat dated. The bed was comfortable and the linens were good. The bathroom towels were fluffy and plentiful. Our room was in a two story motel-style building and we were on the first floor. Noise from the room above was noticeable."
