"We were warned that the housekeeping was shortstaffed. But the room could’ve used a good dusting, there was something greasy spilt on the night stand, the bathroom floor counter needed a good sweeping. But the biggest thing was finding 2 pairs of underwear left over from the previous guest shoved in the corner of the closet. The breakfast was adequate for hotel breakfast."

"It was the cutest modern motel. My husband and I last-minute planned a getaway to Detroit Lakes for our anniversary. I found Beachfront Haven on the “Visit Detroit Lakes” website in places to stay. It was clean, cute, cozy, affordable, and we felt safe in the area. It is across the street from the lake, surrounded by amazing restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"The ice machines were not working, they were froze up. Their was police or ice agents activity their. On line they said the breakfast was open at 6:00 am, but didn't open up until 7 am. Change it please. Take off the previous owners off the web, it was very confusing. Other wise the breakfast was good, the juice machine was not working and had trouble with the waffle machine. Get things fix please. Will not go their again because of all these problems, poor management."

"Extremely uncomfortable beds, hot tub was set so HOT that no one could even get all the way in, continental breakfast was poorly maintained, and the pool was dirty. Would not recommend!"
