"The room was exceptionally clean and looked recently painted and updated, especially the bathroom. The only 2 issues we had were as follows: the tub / shower appeared new, but the step in was so high I could barely get in and out with bad hips (I really don't have a problem at home); and the parking spaces for the upper level rooms don't have enough room to swing in or out without backing up halfway in. But we would stay there again."

"Close to restaurants and shopping. Great Smokey Mountain Railroad Train Depot about a 2 minute drive from their parking lot. The staff is AMAZING! They give you options for your breakfast and serve it exactly the way you want it. The homemade blueberry bread is delicious. You will get a tour of the grounds as soon as you arrive. The rooms are very clean. The whole place is very charming. I highly recommend. "

"Step back 105 years and sink yourself into a time of relaxation and small town charm. The Calhoun House has all the modern comforts but a real yester-year feel. Ed is a great historian and host and makes you feel at home, and we did.....stayed an extra unplanned night too!"
