"Seems like a nice hotel with good spa facilities. We had a non smoking room, but it stank of cigarettes and the bathroom smelt unclean. The hotel staff didn’t speak any English (I no we were in Germany but basic pleasantries would have been nice) so don’t expect any help. Didn’t complain about the smell in the room as unable to make ourselves understood."

"Hotel is classic Black Forest style had a lovely meal one of the evenings in their restaurant. The rooms were lovely, nice large and clean. Plenty of parking either in their car park or across the road next to the river. My only comment would be that the sauna isn’t signposted I think you must have to ask, same goes for the tennis courts. The only negative would be the road it is on isn’t the quietest. We did have a nice time. "

"Started unexpected as the reception closed early, but all possible help was afforded to us to make us comfortable. The big surprise was the room which was far better than expected, and the breakfast the following day which was absolutely delicious, both hot and cold choices. A real gem of a hotel"

"The room was spacious, the price was great, and the people are fantastic. The location is just over the river and our balcony was positioned immediately over it with a wonderful view. We are especially grateful for the staff, who not only tolerated the antics of our two-year-old, but went out of their way to make our stay comfortable."
