Wonderful place to stay in Oaxaca!

We loved our recent stay at this hotel! Cozy boutique within walking distance of everything on a quiet side street. More beautiful than the pictures, super clean, decent bed, with eggs and fruit for breakfast each morning. One tiny drawback is that we had the room directly across from the lobby so there was a lot of light through the windows at night and very little sound barrier. Outside of that, what really makes this hotel top-notch is the customer service! Everyone was so friendly and professional, gave us excellent recommendations for food and made certain that our 4 AM taxi was available to take us to the airport. I highly recommend this little hotel and would absolutely stay again!

This is a small charming hotel (but expanding soon). The rooms are rather small but beautifully appointed, each in different style. Sitting area is available in the garden with an amazingly smelling tree featured. Excellent value for the price in Oaxaca center.

My second time at this property but not the last. Very reasonably priced for the area new hotel with only five rooms so far. Each room, while small, is individually decorated and has all the conveniences for a simple stay. There a charming garden in the middle that is nice to relax in and smell the flowering tree.

We loved staying here. The place is so well situated, and the staff are so friendly and work hard to ensure you feel comfortable. The room was cozy and whilst on the smaller side, the space is very functional with the added shelves and hooks. It was a sanctuary to come back to after exploring the city. Everything is kept so clean. The bed was super comfy and the shower had good water pressure which is quite rare in Oaxaca. We would definitely stay here again!

Rather small hotel (only about six rooms), well maintained and with an extremely nice staff. We particularly liked the breakfast setting (one big table for all guests in the center of the kitchen). When you‘re at the hotel, watch out for the jasmin smell… it‘s real, coming from a big jasmin plant.

Room on small side with no drawers for storage So we more or less lived out of our suitcases Staff was very helpful and accommodating Rooms were clean and comfortable Breakfast was nice and freshly cooked All in all a pleasant place to stay Location was convenient and many dining choices in walking distance City Center was a 20 minute walk

The hotel was very nice, comfortable bed, good breakfast. The area is quiet, but still close enough to the city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue was we were put in a room that was right at the front entrance to the hotel and across the hall from the reception. No room should be in this particular location. As a result, it lacked privacy.

Amazing hotel highly recommend!

Stayed here for 5 nights in the King bed room and would highly recommend this hotel! The service was amazing, the best during our entire trip, and really personal (there are only a few rooms). Max greeted us with a smile every night, chatted to us, and helped us with absolutely anything we needed. The place was v clean and the room was spacious. The breakfast included was superb (coffee, juice, fruits, eggs done in a variety of ways), it felt like we had a private chef who changed the menu every day, I’m sure you could also have as much as you can eat. Note there was a little noise from the road and the room was close to the reception, so if you are sensitive to noise would recommend asking for one of the other rooms. In terms of location it’s perfect, a safe 5-10 min walk to the center but far enough away for peace and quiet.

BE AWARE. The hotel staff robbed our room and stole about 2000 US dollars cash and our US passports. We found out as we were about to check out and travel to another state. We called the police who were expectedly useless! A security camera had a recorded all movements during our stay. We had to plead with the staff to look at the recording which showed that only the cleaning staff entered the room in our absence. The hotel manager was not on the premises declined to speak with us and come to deal with the crime situation. He only showed up when the police came and refused to even acknowledge the problem or even speak to us. We were about to lose our flights and our hotel reservations in the next city had we stayed to pursue any resolution with the hotel. Worst part of this is is that this property felt very secure with a gated security door that is monitored 24/7. Instead, we were robbed by the staff we trusted with our safety and the safety of our belongings. The manager of the hotel should have investigated and found the thief on his team. Instead he refused to even show his face at the hotel. We asked to speak with the hotel owners but the staff refused to provide the contact info. Owners will hopefully read this and take corrective measures to ensure no other guest are violated and no more crimes committed. At a minimum they should refund cost of our stay. The staff, except for the manager and the thief, were super kind and just wonderful, especially Mitzi.
