Larkspur Oakland hotels

"Breakfast was pretty gross. Giving public preschool menu vibes. Nothing fresh, everything ready made and 100% processed. We just couldn't do it. Even the coffee was pretty tough to swallow. The hotel itself is well maintained for an older property with no updates. It was clean and staff friendly. The $18 parking fee per night was NOT mentioned and that would have had some bearing on the booking for me. "

"Clean comfy room , basic breakfast of coffee, toast & cereal included in the price. Very close to the Amtrak railway line, so a bit noisy. Very convenient for the waterfront, restaurants & bars. Easy walk to train station."

"Other than a major checking-in issue, the hotel was great. The breakfast was tasty, and the amenities avaliable exceeded expectations for the price. Just that during check-in, the counter staff couldn't find my prepayment in the system. Had to dispute it with the manager the next morning as Expedia's virtual agent help services were not helpful. No apology or anything given. Annoying and fustrating experience but the hotel itself was nice for the most part."
