"The Micky Monkey is a unique property. Our room was clean and air conditioned with a heat pump. It's directly on the beach. There is a restaurant / bar onsite. There are only a dozen or so private rooms and if you are looking for a quiet, authentic experience, this is perfect."

"The resort design works well - to have the pool right outside our patio was lovely, the bed was large, great bathroom. The location too was excellent and we loved how the beach space was decorated in fairy lights, swings and hammocks, adding to the luxurious feel. "

"Too close to the airport, not close enough to anything else. Hour taxi ride to get to Patong, Elephant sanctuary or anywhere else worth visiting on the island. Accommodation (2 Bdrm pool villa) was ok, breakfast was below average and resort dining options were limited. Would not stay again. "
