A little piece of paradise.

Me and my wife had 8 fantastic days at ”Game fish lodge”. The lodge and owners ,Colin and Lesley, were excactly what We had hoped they would be. From the genuinly warm wellcome to the emotional good bye, Colin and Lesley where more than the perfect hosts. Every possible effort was made to make sure our holiday was perfect. The lodge itself its a small 6 roomed hotel in a rustic setting ,1 km south of Nungwi centre. The rooms are clean, have a beautiful wiew of the Indian Ocean, great airconditioning and a small patio area. There is a swimmingpool, plenty of seating area scattered around the grounds and bar facilaties. The lodges locacation away from the hustle and bustle of Nungwi centre makes it a perfect spot for a quiet and relaxed holiday. If you are looking for a central five star hotel with roomservice, private beaches and waitercervice this isnt for you. But if like us you want a peaceful, relaxed holiday with hosts who go far more than the extra mile -look no further.

The perfect place for a relaxing holiday. Nice room, close to the ocean, great swimmingpool and good breakfast. Colin and Lesley, who runs the place, is so nice and the views around is beautiful. We would love to come back!

Séjour inoubliable

Je remercie Lesley et son mari pour ce parfait séjour. Nous sommes partis entre amis et les hôtes nous ont tout de suite mis à l’aise. L’hôtel est parfaitement entretenu. La vue sur la mer depuis les chambres ainsi que le bar et la piscine côtoyant le bord de mer vous feront fondre. Pensez à dîner une fois dans cet hôtel. Les poissons y sont exquis. Nous reviendrions sans hésiter une seconde si l’occasion se présentait.

We chose this hotel because there were only a small number of rooms and we chose well. We have travelled extensively and this is one of the best and enjoyable accommodation we have stayed in. The rooms are fairly basic but everything was available. The breakfast was the best during our stay in Zanzibar with an amazing view! Colin and Lesley our hosts were very friendly and hospitable and we are planning to return next year for another relaxing stay !

Nous avons passé un sejour inoubliable. Collin et Lesley sont des personnes chaleureuses, attentionnées et d'une grande gentillesse. Les repas sont excellents et on se sent tout de suite comme à la maison dans ce petit coin de paradis. Nous avons eu un petit pincement au coeur en quittant les lieux et tout nous a manqué pendant le reste de nos vacances sur l'ile !

Кроме замечательного вида на рифы с территории,ничего положительного сказать не могу:завтрак не плохой,но подают его,хорошо,если к 9,хотя,начало в 7 утраи это при том,что всего 6 номеров с постояльцами ,фрукты -только соки фрэш.Но, главное -выход к морю доступен,только во время отлива,т.е.4 часа в день,конечно очень интересно ходить после отлива,поискать обитателей,посидеть в лужах,но с 5 вечера к воде не подойти,волны с силой бьют о берег,выход к другим отелям не возможен,т.е.полная изоляция.И,конечно,комната,сама по себе не,плохая,но,просто потрясающий запах плесени, до спазма в горле ,я спала с открытыми окнами и дверью.

Best place to stay in Nungwi! The property is lovely, amazing mornings and sunsets views. The most important are the hosts who lovely and friendly people, they cooked delicious and look after us at all times. We wish to stay more time. We will be back definitely recommended

Unique c est le mot..un établissement authentique,certes ce n est pas un 5 étoiles mais le principal y est, clim, piscine etc Ce que vous trouverez en terme de générosité, d envie de faire plaisir et de partager n a pas de prix...encore merci à nos hotes de nous avoir fait vivre une si belle expérience

Il meglio se non volete il classico resort

Se non cercate un resort ma un luogo lontano da tutto e tutti è il posto che fa per voi. I titolari sono super disponibili c è un servizio taxi per portarvi al ristorante visto che uscendo dai resort la situazione non è proprio delle migliori. Colazione cucinata al momento non vi è la possibilità di fare pranzo e la parte in cui si trova il lodge è soggetto alla marea con barriera corallina. Assolutamente da prenotare
