"We stayed in a Japanese-style room with a city view, and the view from the 12th floor was amazing. We arrived before 3:00 p.m., and our room was ready within five minutes. However, we noticed a large dust ball on the floor, which concerned us slightly since we slept directly on the floor for two nights. The hotel is located on a hillside, and the restaurant only operates during breakfast and dinner hours. Fortunately, the breakfast and dinner buffets made our stay easier and allowed us more time to enjoy the Onsen. The hotel provides shuttle service to sightseeing locations, where guests can take taxis or loop buses. Due to rainy weather, we explored less but enjoyed walking 15 minutes to a local ramen shop run by an elderly Japanese couple. The hotel provides local goodies in the room that can be purchased at the hotel shop. I recommend buying them there, as some items are hard to find elsewhere. An elderly Japanese lady also sells fresh peaches in the lobby each morning. They were sweeter and cheaper than the peaches at Sendai Morning Market. The hotel does not have laundry facilities, but it offers a great chance to experience local Japanese culture. The Onsen experience was memorable, especially watching the moon at night and enjoying green mountain views during the day."

"Overall pretty good resort that is unfortunately showing its age. Our room was rather small for a family style room (comparatively to other ryokans we stayed at for a similar price point) but very clean. Beautiful location but very remote if you donโt have a car. Shuttles to and from Inawashiro station made it easy to take day trips to other areas. Most of the resortโs amenities were also not open during our stay too. The resort supposedly has multiple restaurants but only two were open while we were there. The outdoor onsen is quite nice as well."

"This was a nice hotel located very close to aizuwakamatsu station. It was dated- the bathroom was clean, but had a kind of old smell. The air conditioning didnโt work well, but it was cool enough to open the window. There were no laundry facilities, but there was a coin laundry pretty close by. We were given drink vouchers for each nightโs stay but we didnโt use them because we felt underdressed for the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful- we transferred luggage and they were very helpful with that. Close to a 7-eleven and restaurants were nearby. Overall a nice stay and would stay again if going to the Aizu area."
