Arrived at the pub/hotel location and had to wait around 10 minutes to be seen to due to combined service area. Once seen we was quickly give our room keys once we had confirmed identity’s. Before being shown to the hotel entrance and informed around what keys open which doors we asked a couple of questions around our stay which were promptly answered.
Once we got to our room we was greeted by a modern and clean room which had a comfortable bed, bedside tables, tv and drink making faculties - the only negative thing was how much we could open the window however we understood why this was restricted (the issue with this we will get to later.) We had an en suit with our room which was clean and contained towels.
We had a couple of drinks in the pub, while getting our drinks we was asked by one of the members of staff if we had a fan in the room, we explained that we had a small heater that could be turned cool but no fan and was told that they where trying to put fans in all the rooms. We finished our drinks before going into the local town for food before returning for another drink before retiring back to the room.
Once we got back to the room we discovered that we didn’t have a fan in the room which we assumed we was getting - shame on us.
We stayed in the room overnight which was really uncomfortable due to the heat and didn’t sleep well. Once using the shower in the morning the water pressure in the shower was poor but manageable.
Would stay again but bring fan.
