Le Nouvel Hotel

"Our room was very nice and the amenities checked all the boxes but were disappointing. Pool and gym very small and the restaurant looked like a college cafeteria. No ambiance at all. Not a lot close by but we did find a good restaurant about a mile away. Loved the tables and chairs outside."

"The room was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great for walking to all the places we were looking to visit! It's not far from the underground city and the Bell Centre. And Old Montreal was a 25-minute walk or a 12-minute Uber ride. It was nice to have free breakfast, but the options were more limited than we were expecting. The kitchenette was great to have, so we didn't have to spend money eating out; however, there wasn't a sheet pan to use inside the oven (despite the pots and pan options). We didn't see if we could get one from the staff; we just used a sheet of parchment paper, but it would've been a nice option. Still, our overall experience was great, especially for the price."

"Nice hotel. Some signs of age but overall nice place. Room was clean and smelled nice. Metro was close by to get downtown easily. Free parking is nice. The pool seems to be the place to go as it was busy every time I looked out. Sauna and steam room were a nice touch as well. I would definitely stay here again."

"great location and price is lower compared to hotels, especially during peak season. However, it’s still a campus residence - housekeeping is only once a week so during our whole stay of 4 days the room got pretty messy with no way for us to clean it. The room wasn’t super clean when we checked in, there was hair here and there, stains on the couch. The AC is old, windows don’t open, so the air felt a bit stiff inside. Other than that, it was a fine room that has all the amenities you need like private shower, towels, shampoos."
