"It is a hidden gem with exceptional staff. They are doing their best to stay afloat like too many places are. The building is aged yet they do their best with what they can. The necessity of fresh linens and towels. The renovation of their breakfast area was a hidden gem with still fresh waffle toppings, resl whipped cresm and homemade biscuits & gravy! Staff are keeping the area top-notch. "

"We asked for handicap. We did receive first floor. The air conditioning on high cool when first arrived-9pm. It was cold in room. We turned heat on- there is no regulation on cooling or heating- so then hot in room. The beds are very firm, hard on back. The breakfast was wonderful all items- scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, cereal, juices, coffee, etc. That was the very best breakfast served. Area is in a quiet area. "

"Forgetting I left my lights on, my battery naturally died. The staff immediately helped me and the manager went home to locate jumper cables - hospitality personified. I’m grateful to the Washburn Inn folks for their wonderful service that went above and beyond. "
