"Exceptionally clean! Thought it was brand new but it is several years old. Decent sized workout room, coffe/tea in the lobby all day. Friendly helpful staff. Spacious room, with couch and second tv separated by a half wall, microwave, fridge, coffee/tea maker, and safe. Water bottles for purchase. Really comfy bed and pillows. Plenty of towels. One lamp/outlet did not work, but there were plenty to go around. Only stayed one night but i would stay again."

"Staff behind the desk were very helpful and very accommodating. A big shoutout to the person who had coffee available at 4:30 in the morning. "

"The room was very clean and somewhat updated for such an old motel. My only concern was the bed was like a rock not very comfortable at all. Also I feel every Motel and Hotel should have a smoking policy that states NO smoking within so many hundred yards of the facility. They were allowed to smoke right out side the door of their unit which means the smoke and smell penetrate every room on either side. Very unattractive and irritating. "

"The entire hotel has a wonderful warm and friendly vibe. I felt like I was old friends with all of the staff members. They were very helpful prepping their tandem bicycle for my wife me to take a long ride. We had a blast at The Oxbow and will happily stay there again on our next visit to Eau Claire. "
