"Beautiful relaxing location, large spacious well appointed room, Andy the host was so welcoming and helpful with both areas to visit and restaurants to eat at. Breakfast cooked by Andy was delicious and nutritious. " The chalets are gorgeous. Beautifully appointed with lovely bathroom products, the towels are divine and the king sized bed was incredibly comfortable. The hosts are very warm and welcoming and the kitchen is sensational. We loved it here. You can either cook in the kitchen or a short walk to a vast array of foody options"

"Haben 3 super tolle Tage dort verbracht!! Das Frühstück von Mutsuo war der Hammer!! Besser kann es kein Hotel servieren. Würde es jedem Empfehlen der wie wir in den Bay of Islands unterwegs ist! John hat uns auch noch eine Menge wertvoller Tips gegeben!! Kommen bestimmt wieder!!"

"There are only two units in this facility and the parking is on the side of the hill, straddling the garage. This was a rather precarious situation and, in my opinion, barely qualified as "on-site" parking."

"The Matauwhi Bay Manor was the most magnificent vacation holiday place we have ever stayed in.The ground was stunning with gardens, trees, and “bush” surrounding this large Manor House. The views in three directions where of the beautiful Matauwhi Bay with picturesque boats anchored all the way around. The interior of the manor felt like we were staying in Downton Abbey. Our hosts Bruce and Diana were just as friendly and as accommodating as could be. Our freshly cooked breakfasts were a delight...
