Relaxing Getaway

Chalet Romantica was absolutely perfect. We stayed in the Belle Vue apartment and it was extremely comfortable, well equipped, spotlessly clean and had a wonderful view. There was a spa pool and steam room, too providing an opportunity to relax after a day out. The location is perfect with local restaurants and amenities a short walk away. Inga was a really warm and welcoming host, and provided some really thoughtful touches such as a personal welcome note, home-made treats, ready prepared beach bag and making a trip reservation on our behalf. Inga gave us lots of helpful tips and recommendations which we followed and found they worked well for us. We would certainly recommend Chalet Romantica and appreciate all the care that Inga made to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. Thank you Inga.

Wonderful views!

Wonderful views! Nice breakfast and breakfast setting. Lots of steps to our top floor room, but worth it. Wished the jacuzzi was hot. Nadine had trouble with it.

Delightful place to stay in Paihia

My husband and I had an absolutely delightful stay at the Chalet Romantica. Nadine is the perfect host, providing a warm welcome and lots of great insight and recommendations on activities and restaurants. Her enthusiasm for the area is infectious. The chalet is very well located on a hill overlooking the bay. It is a very short walk to restaurants and the waterfront. Views from the rooms and terrace of the chalet are gorgeous. Our suite was very spacious and well outfitted. The toiletries were really nice. Nadine prepared a lovely hot breakfast every morning in addition to a good continental breakfast.

In tis New Zealand trip we have stayed in many B&B, and this was by far THE BEST. The location is wonderful with a super view on the Bay, Breakfast was awsome (with a view), the room is very comfortable, everything perfect. On top of everything Nadin and Inge (her Mom) were the greatest hosts! If we are ever in the area, we are sure to come back, and will certainly send our friends.

Perfect in every way!

We arrived to Chalet Romantica and were immediately stunned by the gorgeous property and views. Everything is as described in the photos and the views are even better in real life. Nadine went out of her way to assist us- even preparing an in-suite breakfast when our excursion departed around 6am one morning. This is probably the best B&B we’ve stayed at in NZ and would definitely come back if the opportunity arises. Thank you for a magical and amazing stay!

Nadine and Chris were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was not only tasty, but beautifully set. Nadine even gave us a beach bag with towels and sun block to take with us on our boat trip to the islands.

We stayed at the chalet romantica for our honeymoon. The location was beautiful location tucked on a hill at Paihia, the view from the balcony on our room was to die for. Enge was so helpful and lovely kind person, the breakfast each morning was fantastic too! Would highly recommend!
