"We were in the yellow side building. Our room was very small. The bathroom was tiny and had the smallest sink I have ever seen in my life- slightly larger than my hand- hard to wash your face. Hotel is right across from Godafoss waterfall- not in the town area of Laugar. Paid extra for breakfast and it was very nice- even had a choose your own espresso machine. Dated decor. Shower very slippery but so small chances are good you won’t fall."

"Location was perfect and room comfortable. Loved that our room had a short deck which opens out towards the front of property, overlooking a breathtaking view. Only feedback in kind is, reception could have been friendlier. It totally set a morose energy to an already morose winter evening. Perhaps she had a long day and was tired 🙃"

"This was a working dairy farm. It was very interesting to see the cows being milked or feeding in the pasture. The buffet breakfast was the best we had on our 10-day trip around Iceland. They had very many offerings. Since it was a dairy farm, they had fresh cheeses and yogurt. The lodging was in log cabins. The beds were very comfortable. Each cabin had parking."

"I stayed at the hotel for a few days after being released from the hospital after surgery on a broken ankle. I stayed while waiting for my travel insurance to arrange transportation back home in the United States. The staff were all so nice and helpful since it was not easy for me to get around. Someone was always willing to help me fix a plate at breakfast since I was using a walker and could not carry anything. And they did it with a smile!"

"Very pleased with our one night stay. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was spacious and clean. They had dinner buffet for 85k ISK. Breakfast was included and for a change we could get some scramble eggs and Bacon's. Sauna and hot tub included and open till 11 pm. Also, a new spa called Forest Lagoon has opened nearby which is a nice retreat with their large poops, sauna, and cold plunge. The hotel is a scenic 10 minute drive from downtown. All in all, highly recommended!"
