"Our apartment was perfect for 2 people. It was spotlessly clean, well-appointed and with everything we could need. We had a beautiful view overlooking the garden and the sea beyond. The complex was very quiet and well-located for restaurants, shops and the local bus. We particularly appreciated the private transfers to and from the airport and the opportunity to visit Port Douglas for the Sunday market. Lisa and Peter were very congenial and helpful hosts and we loved our stay."

"What a sensational resort! The location was amazing with the beach just over the road. The bars and restaurants were within a very short walk but we didn’t hear a thing from these locations at night. The pool area and gardens were beautiful. My only concern was with the servicing of the room. We stayed for 3 weeks and while the towels and linen were changed weekly, the bathroom, kitchen, floors and toilets were not cleaned in that time. "Generally accommodation was good. Lovely building and staff. Our room definitely due for some love/ maintenance, sulphuric smells from bathroom wastes probably as not a regularly used apartment. Advertised as Ocean View Queen but was on the Northwest of tower so didnt have as much of a view as other rooms. Overall good value, just needs a bit of love and maintenance"

"This was our second stay at Xanadu. We were very impressed by the Resort. The rooms were spacious, very clean and had a beautiful ocean view from the East Tower. We enjoyed the indoor heated pool and spa and there is an outdoor pool also. We made good use of the gymnasium which was well equipped. Tony & Grace, the Managers, and all of the reception staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. Our holiday went smoothly and we hope to be back again in the future."
