"The room was plain and simple and very quiet. It had a big window and we saw deer passing by. It felt like camping in a hotel room. Our room was a 20 minute walk to the visitors centre and the rim. There were nice pathways for walking. Our only complaint was The floor. It was swept but dirty. We wiped up some water and the towel was black. One of the elevators was out of commission for our entire stay. There was an influx of people for breakfast so it was all quite crazy and disorganized … ran out of coffee by 6:40 am so instead of waiting we went next door to Denny’s. Pool area could also use some sprucing up. Cushions on lounge chairs were all stained and shabby looking....

"I did not get to stay here. I was traveling with my service dog (a small pug). Unfortunately, my card was stolen. I booked a room here and when I got there, they would not give me a room or a refund. I had been driving all day and they were not helpful. They informed me that I would have to get a refund from Expedia. UGH!"

"The hotel is located on historic route 66 and nice looking, but all surrounding properties are a junk yard. Good parking especially if you have a long truck and trailer set up as several staying did and parked in the empty lot next door. Ice machine was broken. Everything seemed chaotic and disorganized when we arrived but looked better by morning. Breakfast is ok, the dinning room is small. Difficult to get help, possibly understaffed. Not well maintained.
