"This is a new hotel in Conklin, AB built by the owners of the gas station and the motel at the entrance to the town. I reserved and paid for this room on Expedia for a getaway with my wife while I was working around the area. I arrived and found the front desk to be deserted and had to call into the other room to find someone to help me. I told the person at the front desk that I reserved a room and told the clerk my name. She spent the next few minutes typing in my information into the computer...
