"It was quiet, charming in a rustic way, Very clean, and with lots of attention from Kris, the on-site property manager. We were right on Lake Willoughby and it was absolutely gorgeous. There's not a lot to do in the area in the fall / winter, but we wanted just to go and relax, and we did that! It was perfect for us. We stayed in cabin number one, the original log cabin, and as one might expect it had a bit of a draft - but fresh air is a good thing when it's offset by a good heating system! The...

Lots of options to keep everyone entertained (tennis court, indoor kids play area, several pools including heated one, volleyball and basketball court, small coffee shop and restaurant and tons of activities prepared by hotel staff). "Was on our bucket list and glad we finally made the reservation. Loved this B&B for a romantic getaway. Well maintained property with historic appeal. Welcoming staff on arrival - felt personal and inviting. The Hampshire room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Old English vibe. Dinner and the complimentary breakfast were delicious. Enjoyed walking around the property and playing some of the outdoor games. Definitely will be back."
