"When we checked in, he asked if we needed anything special. We requested to be on maybe level two or above. He then looked at our reservation and said since we went through a Third Party, he wasn’t able to accommodate us since they were full. Had we gone through them it might have been easier. He gave us a room on the first floor. When we got to our room, it was not very clean. The window was broken. The remote wasn’t even working. We had to go to the front desk to get batteries in order for it...

"They had waffles, hot eggs, sausage and country potatoes. The proximity to the Interstate, as well as the busy highway that went in front of the hotel, both had unbearable road noise. I use earplugs to sleep, I had no trouble because I was exhausted from a long drive. Plan accordingly for road noise, LOUD road noise."

"This historic Fred Harvey property was clean and attractive. It was renovated and reopened in 2019. Staff was welcoming, friendly, and anticipated and fulfilled our every need. We’ve stayed here several times in the past and will stay here again, highly recommend. "

"The room was very clean, and the continental breakfast was one of the best I've had. The little cheese omelets and fresh salsa was so good. The shower in our room did not hve a grab bar, so I didn't feel steady getting in and out of the shower."

"Nice rooms, good location on the Plaza. Good selection of restaurants within walking distance. Hotel is about 1 mile from the train station. There is a walking tour for historic structures around the plaza which you can find online."

The room was spotless, everything felt clean and well cared for, and you could tell the property has been recently updated—fresh paint, modern feel, and nothing looked worn down. It was the first place where we could actually relax and feel comfortable. Everything worked, everything was in great condition, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming and taken care of.
