"It was a better than average experience at an older hotel that has been recently remodeled and looks really good. The rooms were updated and very upscale in their furnishings including a new sink area that was located outside the toilet and bath area, which is a real plus for two people getting ready in the morning. "This place was fine as a stop on our roadtrip with dogs. There was an area to walk the dogs with doggy bags provided. The inside was decently clean and well maintained. The room was hot on arrival but the AC did a good job once it cooled off some. It’s nothing luxurious but more than adequate."

"This is an older hotel, so expectations should be par with that. Staff friendly and helpful. A/C is not "per room" but centrally controlled and was set at 66 degrees at night (too cold for me, but they did have plenty of blankets). The "free breakfast" is not at the location, but 4 blocks away at owner's diner. The food there was very good--ate both dinner and breakfast. The breakfast was truly excellent."

"The grounds were sad, very unkept, poolwas covered, not usable. room had cockroaches and flies( i know they cant help that) sheets were thin and yucky. the room smell was horrible,strong order of dog feces nd urine. i usually do not give bad reviews, i travel a lot for work and have stayed in many low priced hotels, so i give them some grace. i would have walked out of there( first time i ever thought about doing that) but it was prepaid, no refund and it was late. Staff and check in was great...
