"The only thing I have to say is in room 414. There was a horrible patch job on the wall . It was about 6x13 inches. Some was ripped and plaster was on the wallpaper around it. Aesthetically It looked awful for such a nice room "

"Property was under renovation which was Not disclosed when booking, it was dirty, disorganized, smelly, and looked abandon from the outside. The room was dated, the shower floor was discolored and looked so dirty. The shower leaked water everywhere. "

"Enjoyed our stay here. The layout (having an exterior entry and an atrium entry) is great design. The room and hotel common areas were clean, organized and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent! The hotel is not the newest but has been modernized and is quiet and comfortable. Looking forward to staying here again. "

"When checked in I was not notified that the microwave and hair dryer need a light switch turned on to operate. Thought it was not plugged in / not working. Mini fridge on but did not work. There was a cigarette size burn hole on a blanket in a non smoking room (room did not smell smokey). Breakfast was ok, hot food hot. Room definitely needs to be renovated. Staff was polite, helpful and quick."

"When we checked in, he asked if we needed anything special. We requested to be on maybe level two or above. He then looked at our reservation and said since we went through a Third Party, he wasn’t able to accommodate us since they were full. Had we gone through them it might have been easier. He gave us a room on the first floor. When we got to our room, it was not very clean. The window was broken. The remote wasn’t even working. We had to go to the front desk to get batteries in order for it...

"We couldn't believe how spacious this apartment was! Kristi, the manager, communicated with us before and during our stay, and even had a welcome basket with goodies waiting for us in the kitchen. Our unit had a great living room, full kitchen, bedroom with two big beds, and pull-out sofa. And TWO full bathrooms. After a long day of hiking, it was just perfect for the three of us. We fully recommend High Plains Lodge!"

"Clean and easy to get keys for the stay. Breakfast was very slim. No fruit available on multiple days. Don’t know on other breakfast items. Never did find where you can get ice. Every time I went downstairs to ask no one was around even after ringing bell. But rooms were clean and heat worked. Overall would stay again. "

"The room was very clean, and the continental breakfast was one of the best I've had. The little cheese omelets and fresh salsa was so good. The shower in our room did not hve a grab bar, so I didn't feel steady getting in and out of the shower."
