"Nice breakfast and breakfast area. Pool area very humid and filled with young kids when I wanted to swim. Oh, well."

"This was like a blast from the past! It was charming, very clean, sociable and a wonderful staff! It was so nice to actually see our neighbors and talk with them, so opposite modern hotels. We traveled with our dog and there was a beautiful walking trail just across the street. Everything about the establishment felt warm and welcoming. We would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"The pool was great! The beds were old spring mattresses where you could feel the springs on the side of the bed. The water was terrible to drink (even what they put in the lobby). Go to the dispenser by the pool. The water also smelled terrible. Don't think I can get over the water and bed."

"Owner gave us tour of this wonderful old home. Amenities were great... snacks at no charge in room. Our King Suite was very large. Owner lets you choose from locally made natural soaps with different fragrances for your shower. Breakfast was good with some local pantries and fresh fruit. Very unique property with very involved owner"

"Needed updating, not very clean and no water pressure."

"This was an inexpensive stay on our way through the state. Hotel is an older hotel that has been taken care of but not updated. Beds weren’t any too plush, the pool was ice cold in late July, and pool towels were clean but falling apart. Breakfast was decent. For the money I’d stay here again but don’t expect anything too spectacular."

"I wish that the water park amenity would have been more transparent about being available for public use as well. It’s connected to another hotel for use, but the public can purchase passes as well, and so that was a bit of a bummer with the clientele. Otherwise, the room and staff were great."

"This place is amazing. Had a wonderful time with family. Views are incredible. Location is inside the park.Very calm ,serene and meditative. Such a blessing to find and stay in this place."

"It says new renovation, but that is a bit misleading. The rooms are newly done over as is the lobby, but it looks like they forgot to do the stairs, hallways, and doors. Did they run out of money? The two front desk ladies were very kind, professional, and helpful. She tried to fix the pool, but to no avail. I’m surprised they don’t have a pool company…so we could not use the pool or hot tub the three nights we were there."
