Seasider Motel

10/10 Excellent

"We weren’t sure what to expect with a motel, but this was a really great experience for a family. The staff is really nice and the grab and go breakfast and the available snacks throughout the day were a huge perk. These were nicer than other hotels that we have stayed at from major brands. The location is prime and walking distance to many restaurants. The floors were incredibly clean and we booked it because there’s no carpet."

"What a welcoming and lovely property! My only lament— the stay was too short! The staff is professional and friendly. The property is well maintained, with ample parking. The location is perfect—on a quiet street that is close enough to walk to the historic center and a short drive to an Acadia Park entrance. Bonus— there is air conditioning, if needed. The property is equipped for those with mobility challenges as well, which was important. We’re looking forward to returning!"

"This was a convenient location if you are looking for less expensive accommodations near Mt. Desert Island. We were able to get a fold away bed in addition to the pull out couch and queen bed which was great for our family of 5. Checking in was easy and the staff was helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Our kids enjoyed the outdoor pool. We set out around 8:30 in the morning and stopped for breakfast at their farm coffee shop along the way. We didn't hit any traffic on the way to Acadia. There was some traffic returning that evening."
