Loved the renovated hotel however woke up at 2:30am and unable to turn AC down from 28 degrees, not sure if the AC was not working or had been blocked but very hard to get dressed in appropriate clothing for early morning hot air ballooning when it feels like summer weather.

Beautifully appointed room. Bed and pillows very comfortable, bathroom facilities fantastic. I did find the lighting in the bathroom difficult for applying make up. Need something stronger around the mirror. Free movies, air-conditioning on what was a 44C day. What's not to love. We'd definitely book here again

It was lovely staying in an old building that had been totally renovated to high boutiques standards,yet kept the charm of yesteryear (stained glass windows, rockwork, the verandah etc) Check in was seamless, staff all helpful and polite. Ate in the Dome after 5 option and it was excellent.

Good enough, amazing with some tweaks
Pros: Lovely room and hotel, staff are friendly and welcoming, rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Cons: For the price a few tweaks are really needed, the fridge was about 15cm deep and you really can’t fit anything in it(we had a baby on bottles so keeping fresh milk in the room was essential. No microwave or any tea/coffee making facilities in the room nor is there any room services available at all. Dome is below but will not bring to the room(a bit inconvenient having to get everyone ready for breakfast instead of relaxing and having it in the room. With a few small tweaks to aid convenience and relaxation and this would definitely be worth the money.

We had a very nice stay here but if we were to mention something it would be that they need to carpet the stairs & put rugs on the floor of the accommodation level, because the eco of ppl walking on the timber staircase & floorboards travels through the room. But beautiful accommodation & bars & cafes are great.

Beautiful modern hotel , great comfortable king bed , beautiful sheets and pillows , big tv and very tasty cheese platter Nice bathroom, with aesop products. we were in the smallest room , (cottage) ok for one night but due to the lack of a window, only a skylight I would have chosen one of the bigger options. Overall beautiful hotel , great atmosphere and I would definitely recommend the farmers hotel to anyone who needs accommodation in Northam

Was in 103, very noisy from dancing under my room down stairs and air con was also noisy, sounded like water filling up a tank. Stayed in other rooms during the week without the above problems.

We loved our two night stay at the gorgeous property. Northam is a short drive from Perth with the pretty Avon River. This hotel has comfortable sheets, towels and bedding. It has been tastefully restored and I would recommend anyone stay there.
