"This is not our first family staycation at this hotel, as we do enjoy the general tranquility and delicious breakfast spread with the chocolate fountain. It helps that we plan our activities to avoid the crowded peak period for breakfast (9am to 10pm) and the pool (4pm onwards). However, to make it nicer I would have expected: the room to be bigger (looks smaller than the description), the pool at Level 3 to be open (wrong time of the year to be in the hotel), the lobby to feel a bit more welcoming (hotel entrance in a parking basement floor-ish, and the lobby/checking desk area not really a warm atmosphere)"

"Position of hotel was perfect, close to all restaurants, river walks and sights to see. rental bikes were great and also next to hotel. plenty of seats for breakfast and lots of choice. outdoor pool was big with bar and food available. nice view from pool."
