"The staff were really helpful, we'd not realised there was a private car park at the back of the hotel. I'd booked the room with the 500 year old 4 poster bed as a birthday treat, and the room was lovely. Staff were friendly and polite from reception, meal, checkout. Look forward to staying there again. Thanks"

"Such a convenient location for the shops and also the Theatre and restaurants. We did eat in the restaurant which was so pleasant and the staff are very helpful. They do Gluten free too, which was great for me the food overall is amazing. There is air con and a fridge which work very well."

"Stayed one night, had a twin room on floor 3. Room was clean, beds comfy, pillows comfy. Room decor is old and could do with an update but bathroom was modern with good shower.and hot water.towles and linen also nice.virw from our room was ok and wasn't you noisy or anything.Parked round corner in town Hall car park for a fiver, but you can park outside hotel for 90min for free, handy to drop bags etc. there's a bar in the hotel and we got a free drink as a perk of booking with hotel.com. again...

"Our time in Bala was brilliant and the White Lion Royal Hotel was wonderful. Chris greeted us and immediately helped us with a flat tire situation. Jenene served us two delicious meals from their cafe. This 600 year old historic hotel is cared for well. Our bathroom was updated and the bed was very comfortable. Five stars all around! "
