"No real views of the vineyard as such. Winery was closed the entirety of our 5 day stay which was 29 dec to 3rd jan so couldnt do a wine tasting - we were not advised that they would be shut the entire time. House was not bad. Beds were comfy and the rooms are big. Wasnt the cleanest though and there were quite a few cockroaches. No gas for the bbq outside and had to be reimbursed for supplying it ourselves. The property itself wasnt very tidy either. Large piles of debris left in plain sight in...

"Definitely not luxury, aged cobwebs in room, as well as insects. Mismatched towels/ face towels, basic Kmart bath mat. Spa had flakes coming off jets and no evidence of how it is cleaned between guests. Also in guest lounge of a night, no idea how to light the room except with the lamps, and also air con remote no where to be seen."

"Issues with contacting staff after hours, problems with check in, wrong PIN code for room. Eventually got a hold of someone after 1hr"

"I understand that the place is very old, but I can't tolerate the lack if cleanliness. The carpet was old and full of dtains, my bedside table hadn't been dusted for weeks, something had been spilled on the front of the fridge, and inside the fridge, 1 spare blanket had stuff stuck to it and needed washing, and the whole placed smelled musty and nasty. A little TLC and the place could be nice."

"The staff was very polite and attentive. The breakfast was okay, but the bed was uncomfortable. I was already experiencing some pain, and it got worse because the mattress was sinking a lot and I have 74kg. The fridge also had no freezer, and the room wasn't soundproof at all. I could hear everything happening outside."
