"We did purchase a breakfast for all 5 of us. Paid over $100 for the breakfast to be included. We all had breakfast then I got a bill for over $160. I went to front desk. They said it would not be charged. I got home. It was charged. Came straight from my credit card. Had to call and get it taken care of. Super frustrating and worrisome. They did credit me for the breakfast and even included the tip we left the waitress for the inconvenience. Wonderful place to stay. Great location. Very convenient we parked in a public structure right across the street for $20 less/day than valet. Still pricey. But convenient to be able to get to your car whenever you want. I would for sure stay here again. Just wouldn’t do the breakfast. Not worth the hassle to pre pay for it. And not worth the price to pay up front either. It was delicious food. Just pricey for a breakfast."

"Overall, a great hotel and a pleasant stay. The breakfast for us was not complimentary, but just a $15 credit toward a $39 breakfast buffet. The hotel lobby was clean and the front desk attendants were very attentive and accommodating. The lobby bar is a great place to unwind in the evening and offers an ample amount of seating. We purchased the valet service for our Bronco sport, but their garage could not accommodate our vehicle in the garage because we had a cargo bag attached to the roof. However, they kept our vehicle parked in front of the hotel overnight, where an attendant is present 24 hours. We requested a cot, but we were told that they could not provide one for a standard room. We needed to improvise around this, Despite this inconvenience though, we would definitely stay with this hotel again."

The Chicago Hotel Collection - Magnificent Mile

"First, I’m going to say that price and location wise: it’ll be my go-to place in Chicago. I really enjoyed the room and was impressed by the view we got. As someone who’s frequently made trips to Chicago, it felt like Chicago to me. And the pizza, bagel and ice cream right next door was a bonus. What I found frustrating was that the texting line didn’t work. I had to call because I could not get answers via the text service they kept promoting. Also, the upgraded package, which apparently was for everyone, was not well explained. For example, I was traveling with a child, and they didn’t tell me that they would be counted for breakfast despite them only being part of the whip cream club, I wasn’t told that the drink tickets and the $10 dinner was available at any time on weekends, despite a time limit posted on the website. I found out by eavesdropping that the TV actually worked and that the internet was easy to access. But, the staff, as people, seemed really kind. They just don’t seem like they communicate well with each other as my card wasn’t working despite having called. They seemed extremely hard working. And, I’ll say it again - for the price and the location - I will stay there again."
