"The staff were courteous on arrival and gave us a tour of the beautiful building before showing us to our room. The house and surrounding environment were superb. The room was comfortable and clean albeit a little too warm at night. Our breakfast was tasty and varied served by a very polite young lady. North Stainley Village Beside the main road, the village pinfold appears to have been incorporated into the churchyard behind the near wall, the adjacent low building has an 1842 date stone and may have been the original school before the larger building was erected in 1871. The far building was formerly a Methodist Chapel.

"Receptionist and restaurant staff are friendly and good manner. Double room with king size bed is very spacious, clean bedroom, plenty toilet rolls, full size kettle with tea/coffee and good quality cotton bath sheets. Slept well. Quiet location. English breakfast is good and a good selection of cereals. Wow! Their chef cooked perfect poached eggs. Clean restaurant. The only thing I don't like is their tiny soap for washing hands and no hair conditioner. I just used my own shower gel to wash hands. Hairdryer is a bit slow but we will still stay there again. Overall is good value for money. "
