Bay Watch Resort & Conference Center

"Hotel as a whole was good as it always is. Tower one pool and lazy river was closed and looks to be closed all summer. Would have been nice to know that before hand as our room was in tower one. As usual you get a parking card to put in your car yet they apparently do not stop people from parking in the loading/unloading spots all week. At 7am this morning there were only 2 spots to park in to be able to load our stuff. We were the only car loading up at the time. As usual as well there were no carts to be found in tower one or the main desk area."

Best Western Ocean Sands Beach Resort

"The building is extremely old. That being said it is showing it age, but it was very clean. The ocean front room with balcony was perfect. The office staff could not have been more helpful or efficient. My main complaint with housekeeping was how noisy it was every day. Not with duties or vacuums, but with shouting from one end of the hall to the other. The hotel was the perfect distance to the ocean. We did not eat the breakfast, but I'm sure it was delicious. It would've been nice to have had access to hot dogs or something easy for lunch. The tiki bars drinks were delicious and the bartender was very nice. I was disappointed in the size of the pools, but they were very clean and having access to the pool area until 10 at night was very nice . Having a handicap tag helped with parking availability. We definitely would stay there again."

Quality Inn & Suites North Myrtle Beach

"The good: great location, big suite, clean room. The meh; the night staff was more interested in his video game than helping me, but eventually did. The room coffee was... not the best. Not to mention there was no housekeeping at all during my four day stay. The bad: they need to put some real pillows on the bed. What was there were four SMALL (maybe 14"x14") square pillows that were way too soft for my taste. Also, whoever designed the lighting in the room was not very bright (pun intended)."

Baymont by Wyndham N Myrtle Beach/Park & Sports Complex Area

"The only issue I am having is the payment. I had Hotels.com take entire payment up front like I requested. I was charged. BUT when I got to the property and checked in they needed my credit card for the $50 deposit he said that would be refundable. I understand that 100% BUT they also have another pending amount for $229.03 on my credit card still and this is almost 5 days later. Both of these deposits should have dropped off my account already so I’m a bit concerned having my money tied up."

Avista Resort

"Family friendly resort with outstanding pool amenities for kids. Only a short walk to the beach. The view from our room included the ocean and the pools. The location of the resort was convenient to restaurants, activities, and shopping. The mattress was comfortable, and the housekeeping staff cheerfully removed trash and swapped out towels when we needed them. We ate at the onsite restaurant once and had fantastic service. We did have a 2 hour delay getting into our room initially, due to a communication error from the front desk. This was disappointing and frustrating. The biggest inconvenience for us was the parking garage being across the street and extremely tight for average sized vehicles. It would be helpful if there was a covered crosswalk over the road to go directly into the resort. Overall, we had a very good week. Great resort for wholesome fun in North Myrtle Beach."
