"We came in the off season and the place was empty. We were the only guests the entire weekend. The bar and restaurant were not open and there was no staff on site. As such there was no continental breakfast as listed. It was quiet at night and heard birds singing in the morning which was nice. "The Admiral was an excellent place to stay for the money. A very clean and well-maintained property. Very cute and charming 50's style office/home with hanging flowers pots all around it. Two level motels with a very nice pool. The motel is on the end of the main downtown waterfront so it's very easy to walk. It's perfect to leave car at motel since the town charges to park on street. No food available, only coffee in room. Nice little breakfast place 1 min walking across street. Other places...

"Family friendly, spacious rooms. Tons to do at the resort and in town. Nice casual walk to town that takes minutes. The only negative as a young family were the doors in the West Lodge. The rooms only have a push button for a lock, wish they had a high latch on both the inside and deck doors. Other than that great place!"

"We understand that this property has changed hands several times and it currently shows with the lack of staffing and no food service on given days.There was no snack nor food items available. Having stayed here several times in the past it really has declined in the past experiences we have had there. Our room was clean and the accommodations fine but the rest of the area needed service especially at the front desk and departure."
