"The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!"

"It is very well located to downtown Athens. There are buses that provide transport around the different colleges. The staff were all pleasant and efficient. There is a small gym which was very convenient. Breakfast was reasonably varied and lunch at the Savannah restaurant was good. "This was our first time in Athens and Hotel Indigo did not disappoint. It was beautifully decorated and the rooms have a "wow" factor. The beds are comfortable and everything felt clean and well maintained. The front desk person who checked us in was very nice and allowed us to check in early, which was very much appreciated after being on the road for six hours. We had complimentary breakfast vouchers, and it was delicious. We will definitely stay at Hotel Indigo again!"

Check in person did not mention that our rooms would not be cleaned ….. UNLESS…. we asked for that service when we were checking in….
When we asked to speak to the manager…. We were told that it was his day off…. lol!!!!
