"One of the loveliest stays we have experienced in a unique place. The peniche is exquisite and cosy. Some people might not like sharing the common spaces with other guests. However, we had the place to ourselves 2 nights in a row and met lovely people at the breakfast table. A place like no others. There could be more comfortable chairs in the living room if the weather was inclement."

"The room had double aspect windows. It was spacious. The bed was large and comfortable. Extra bedding was provided. There was a hairdryer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel didn't have a restaurant for evening meals. It had a bar. The breakfast included bacon, scrambled eggs and sausage as well as cereals, fruit, yogurt, cheese, ham, croissants, etc. The only thing which would have improved our stay would be to have a sign for the hotel at the end of the street.
