"We had a wonderful time at this ryokan. We chose this inn specifically for its remote location and traditional atmosphere and were not disappointed. The hotel, outdoor onsen, and woodsy surroundings were all excellent. "We took the Hida from Nagoya and as soon as you exit, it is a shoe 5-minute walk to your right. The check in was through a kiosk and staff was there to assist if needed. After checking in, the staff explained all of the features of the hotel including the barefoot policy, the onsen and the included nightly ramen service. Our room was spacious with a tea service container on the table. The amenities included a double and single bed, refrigerator, makeup area for my wife, a television (never used...
