"I read some negative reviews of this place and I have no idea why anyone would rate this place poorly. It is excellent accommodations. Great breakfast. The only negative is that the ad says something about a bar and lounge - uh - no. There is a little bar by the reservation desk with a couple of chairs but that’s it. "Hotel was in a beautifully restored turn of the 19th /20th century gray stone building with a very stylish 21st century interior in the lobby, the hallways, the restaurant and in the individual room. Eventhough I paid for standard room, we must have been upgraded to small suite as it had an amazing bathroom with bathtub and shower. The bed and linens were very comfortable; it was hard to get up early from the bed for early Fjord boat trip. There was a table with four chairs. "
