"First location. For me the location is perfect. Small side street that is so quiet, you can't believe you are in a city. Close to temples, shopping and restaurants that are literally one minute away. When you get the code and enter the building it has this quirky charm that makes it so appealing. The room/unit was huge, at least he one that I stayed in. Beautiful wood and tatami matted rooms, full kitchen, separate bathroom and shower. Great futons to sleep on. A true Japanese experience. "This place was great. So cute, very clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was great and amenities were very helpful and thoughtful. I plan to stay here again in the future."

"Inside the property is nice, but the location is really bad, it is on a street where you see girls selling "services" and have also the guys that represent those services. I wasn't felling as safe as other places in Japan at night."

"The place was nice. The beds were a little terrible though. There's two upstairs rooms, you have to go through the one with the queen bed to get to the one with the two floor futons. 3 out of 5 of the beds were subjectively very uncomfortable. It felt like springs were pushing into your back / side as you slept. All the guests that slept on those beds mentioned it. Other than that though the location is amazing, the place was good. Fairly spacious and fairly nice all around! "
